一种新颖的基于Log-Gabor小波的虹膜识别算法
New Iris Recognition Algorithm Based on Log-Gabor Wavelet
【摘要】 虹膜识别以其惟一性、稳定性和非侵犯性等优点已成为生物特征识别中极具发展潜力的身份识别技术。提出一种基于Log-Gabor小波局部频率特征和局部方向特征的虹膜识别算法。该算法首先对虹膜图像实行分块,然后选取n个频率、m个方向的Log-Gabor滤波器对每个子块进行特征提取。最后采用海明距离进行图像匹配,以判决合法性。实验结果表明,该算法识别效果较好。
【Abstract】 Iris recognition has become a best potential technology of identity authentication in biometric feature recognition because of the advantages of invariability,stability and un-intrusion.Combining with local frequency features and local orientation features of Log-Gabor wavelet,an approach for iris recognition is presented.First,iris image is divided into several sub-image.Secondly,Log-Gabor filters of n frequency and m orientation are employed to extract the iris features for every sub-image.Finally,the right user can be judged by image matching using Hamming distance.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm perform better than convential methods.
