【Abstract】 This paper analyzes the rhetorical representation of Qu Yuan and Dante’s soul-seeking process and discusses the following major points:firstly,the positioning of their rhetorical roles as seekers in exile;secondly,their rhetorical spiritual journey which is a pursuit in dream and imagination;thirdly,the termination of their rhetorical journey which is defined as the return of both body and mind.In light of these,we may have a general understanding of how the two masterpieces which are distanced in time and space infuse the two poets’ persistent and sincere pursuit and their anguish and anxiety about the reality.Owing to its sublimity and sacredness,this combination has set the rhythm for their eras.更多还原
