基于DEA的压缩软件技术效率评价

【摘要】 应用所给出的DEA方法分析和评价了压缩软件的技术效率,该方法不依赖于度量单位,且具有较高的可靠性.首先建立、转换和扩展了一些基本模型;接着探讨了输入量和输出量的选取,假设输入量只有一个(即待压缩文件的大小)且所有输出量的重要性程度均相同;然后给出了应用该方法进行压缩软件技术效率评价.实验结果表明:压缩软件的技术效率与待压缩文件的类型有关,且压缩软件的技术效率值越大,压缩软件的性能越好.

【Abstract】 This paper presented the use of DEA methodology to analyze and measure the technical efficiency of software,especially the compressor. This method has the additional characteristic of being independent of the units of measuring and is more reliable comparing to the ones that commonly appear in the literature. Firstly,some models were established,transformed and expanded; then,the selection of input and output was discussed,here just one input which is given by bytes was considered,and all outputs were considered equally important; lastly,some experimental results were given and analyzed which applied the method provided in this paper to evaluate the technical efficiency of some compressors. The results shows that the technical efficiency of compression software is related to the type of the files which will be compressed,and the larger the TE score is,the better the compressors are.
