【Abstract】 In China,literary criticism on Toni Morrison’s Sula is characterized with the following aspects:The research on Sula has been continuously increasing;the application of critical theory and approach has demonstrated a diversified trend;the positive reception attitude towards Sula has taken the place of controversial attitude.These changes are due to three causes.Firstly,Sula itself is of great artistic tension.Secondly,readers as a whole have changed their aesthetic horizon of expectations.Thirdly,readers have different "question awareness" from before when studying text now.更多还原
