【Abstract】 The foreign language education policies of a country not only determine its overall situation of foreign language education,but also reflect the mutual impact between foreign language education and socio-economic deve~lopment.This paper evaluates the role the joint meeting of Federal State Ministers for Culture and Education has played in the formulation of foreign language policies through the introduction of educational institutions of the German federal government,focusing on the process of formulating and modifying several foreign language policies in Germany,in particular,on analysing the reasons and contents of the five amendments to the "Hamburg Agreement".It also explores the reasons for and significances of opening Chinese courses in primary and middle schools in Germany.更多还原
