虹膜图像预处理算法
Research on Iris Image Preprocessing Algorithm
【摘要】 本文提出了一种基于眼睛图像均衡化的基础上的新型虹膜图像预处理算法。此算法对虹膜图像进行了精确的定位,使定位后的虹膜图像具有旋转、平移和尺度的不变性。在完全相同的实验条件下,运用MATLAB软件对虹膜图像组成的虹膜数据库进行预处理。本算法平均每幅图像只需要1.78s的运行时间,而当前最流行的Daugman的算法大约需要23s,从而证明了本算法的运行速度约为Daugman算法的13倍,克服了当前流行算法计算量过大的问题。
【Abstract】 In the paper,a new kind of iris image preprocessing algorithm based on histogram equalization in eye picture was presented.The iris was located accurately so that the processed image is invariant for translation,rotation and scale.Under the same experimental condition,every iris image comprising an iris image database were preprocessed.Our algorithm only costs 1.78 seconds while the algorithm of Daugman costs about 23 seconds,which proves that the run speed of our algorithm is nearly thirteen times faster than that of the Daugman’s and it can overcome the shortcomings of costly computation that the existing algorithm has.
