【Abstract】 H-index was raised by Jorge E.Hirsch in 2005.It has generated considerable interest and became a new index to quantify an individual’s research.H-index has a comprehensive evaluation in the number and quality of one academic scholar’s output,and it is considered as the next generation’s core index in quantitative evaluation of the individual academic.We attempts to explore the advantages and disadvantages of H-index applied to the academic evaluation,as well as the expansion of its application in this paper.更多还原
