【Abstract】 A new method for research focus analysis based on the frequency of topic words and g-index is given.The frequency of topic words and the quality of paper represented by topic words are considered simultaneously.Moreover,by the method,the number of topic words can be determined in a natural manner.Taking Informetrics as example,the authors empirically analyze the relationship between g-index of topic words and the frequency of topic words,quality of paper represented by topic words.Theoretic deduction indicates that g-index of topic words is approximately equal to the average number of citations per paper in g-core of topic words.更多还原
