【Abstract】 Cleaning Pigs are widely used in cleaning operation for industry pipeline.Common foam polymer Pigs passing through narrowed section of the pipeline would be subjected to high shear stresses which then resulted in high resistance to the Pigs and may block up the pipe.In consideration of getting the Pig deformed only axially not radially when being subjected to high resistancea novel Pig which could easily pass through narrowed section of the pipeline was presented.To verify the feasibility of this kind of Pigs,the operation resistance of the Pig was measured and compared with that of traditional Pigs.The experimental results showed that the operation resistance of the Pig proposed was lower than that of common ones by 38 percent.更多还原
