单模光纤模场直径测量实验教学内容的改革和创新
Reform and innovation of experiment teaching content for measurement of mode field diameter of single mode fiber
【摘要】 结合应用物理学专业本科生的专业物理实验项目"单模光纤模场直径的测量"的教学内容、教学方式、创新思路和改革尝试进行了分析。针对显微镜不容易精确测量单模光纤的几何参数,如芯径、参考表面直径等,采用了远场和近场扫描法,通过测量与芯径尺寸有关并且容易精确测量的单模光纤的模斑直径,并融合单模光纤数值孔径,加大实验教学内容,淡化实验环节中的课堂内外的区分度。强化学生在实际测量中对理论知识有一定的感性认识,达到在具体的实验项目中实现创新型人才培养的目的。
【Abstract】 The teaching contents,modes,thoughts and innovation of "measurement of mode field diameter of single mode fiber" have tried in special physics experiment for undergraduates.The geometry parameters,such as the fiber core diameter,reference surface diameter,are not easy to be precisely measured for single mode fiber in microscope.The mode field diameter(MFD) is easily measured in experiments using the far and near field methods that are related with a core dimension,and combined the test of numerical aperture of single mode fiber,increased practice teaching contents,and reduced to distinguish for in and out of classroom in practice progress.The innovation idea for talent cultivation can be trained and implemented with a real experiment in interest.
