Pb-GF包覆挤压复合区长度的模拟与试验分析
Simulate and experiment on the length of forming zone in continuous extrusion of lead-clad glass fiber
【摘要】 金属包覆脆性非金属芯材所得到的复合材料用途广泛,但挤压时芯材易发生断裂,成形难度较高。文章以铅包覆玻璃纤维为研究对象,采用有限元分析软件DEFORM-2D建立包覆挤压过程数值模型,对关键参数-复合区长度进行了数值模拟,得出复合区长度的最佳值。在模拟的基础上做了大量试验,试验结果与模拟结果基本吻合,证明,该文结论可用于指导铅-玻璃纤维复合线材的工业生产,同时还为其他金属材料包覆脆性非金属材料的研究提供了理论基础和研究方法。
【Abstract】 Composites formed by brittle materials coated by plastic metals can be wildly used in many fields.But it is difficult to get them because the brittle core is liable to rupture.The optimal length of forming zone,which is the most important parameter in extrusion,is obtained by simulating the process of coating extrusion of lead-clad glass fiber using DEFODM-2D.Eligible Pb-GF wire is obtained experimentally by a side-extrusion symmetric-feed method.The results in the paper can not only indicate commercial running of lead-clad glass fiber but also offer basic theory and research method for the research of other metal-clad brittle materials.
