【Abstract】 The ribosomes are the machineries of protein synthesis.An understanding of the ribosome′s innermost workings is important for a scientific understanding of life.The Nobel prize in chemistry 2009 was awarded to Venkatraman Ramakrishnan,Thomas A.Steitz,and Ada E.Yonath,for studies of the structure and function of the ribosome.The contributions and significance of the award were summarized in this paper.更多还原
