转化生长因子β1在脑积水发生中的作用
Effects of Transforming Growth Factor β1 on Hydrocephalus
【摘要】 脑积水是以脑脊液流动障碍和脑萎缩为主要特点的神经系统疾病。遗传突变、先天性畸形、感染、颅内出血和肿瘤等均能导致不同程度的脑积水。转化生长因子β1(TGF-β1)是脑发育过程中一种重要的生长因子,该基因过表达小鼠可通过调节基质金属蛋白酶-9和基质金属蛋白酶组织抑制剂-1的表达,改变细胞外基质环境,从而导致脑积水形成。本文就TGF-β1在脑积水发生中的作用做一综述。
【Abstract】 Hydrocephalus is a common medical condition characterized by cerebrospinal fluid obstruction and ventricle dilation.Genetic mutation,congenital abnormity,infection,intracranial hemorrhage and tumor are involved in the pathogenesis of hydrocephalus.Transforming growth factor β1(TGF-β1) plays an important role during brain development.Mouse model over-expressing TGF-β1 can develop hydrocephalus by altering the extracellular matrix environment through regulating the expression patterns of matrix metalloproteinase-9 and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1.This current review will focus on the role of TGF-β1 in the pathogenesis of hydrocephalus.
