【Abstract】 PTEN(phosphatase and tension homology deleted from chromosome ten) was the firstly defined tumor suppressor gene whose product acted as phosphatase.Whereas the loss and/or aberrant transcripts of PTEN has been reported in various human carcino-mas, many studies showed that there were several putative mechanisms relating to tumor suppression.The somatic deletions and muta-tions of PTEN gene have been found in several cancer cell.It functions as a tumor suppressor by regulating cell signaling pathways, cell proliferation cycle and cell apoptosis.Research progress on anti-oncogene PTEN offered a theoretical basis for the drug therapy and gene-targeted therapy for acute leukemia patients.更多还原
