纳米TiO2催化合成食用香料苯甲酸异丁酯

【摘要】 以纳米TiO2为非均相催化剂,异丁醇为共沸带水剂,对苯甲酸与异丁醇之间的酯化反应进行了研究,重点考察了醇酸摩尔比、催化剂用量、反应时间对反应酯化率的影响。实验结果表明,纳米TiO2有着良好的催化活性,当苯甲酸的加入量为0.1mol,醇酸摩尔比为3.0∶1,催化剂用量为反应物总质量的1.2%,回流反应2.0h时,反应的酯化率可达98.7%,且催化剂重复使用6次仍保持较高活性。

【Abstract】 The esterification of benzoic acid and isobutyl alcohol was studied using nanometer titanium oxide as heterogeneous catalyst and the excess isobutyl alcohol as azeotropic water stripping agents.The effects of different factors such as mole ratio of reactants,reaction time and catalyst dosage on the yield of isobutyl benzoate were carefully investigated.The experimental results showed that nanometer titanium oxide exhibited excellently catalytic activity.The best reaction conditions were as follows:the amount of benzoic acid was 0.1mol,mole ratio of isobutyl alcohol to benzoic acid was 3.0∶1,the dosage of catalyst was 1.2% of the total mass of the reactants,refluent reaction time was 2.0h.Under this condition,the esterification yield was 98.7%.The catalyst could be repeatedly used six times without loss catalytic.
