催化剂的新定义——催化剂用量对催化剂活性影响的研究
The New Definition of Catalyst——Study on the Effect of Catalyst Amount on Its Catalytic Activity
【摘要】 以对甲苯磺酸催化乙酸丁酯的合成为探针反应,通过考察催化剂用量对催化剂活性的影响,给出催化剂的新定义:催化剂是一种以一定的量参与反应过程、在反应前后无本质改变、能够显著改变化学反应速率、不改变化学反应热力学平衡位置的物质.
【Abstract】 The synthesis of n-butyl acetate catalyzed by p-toluenesulfonic acid was used as probe reaction.Based on the effect of p-toluenesulfonic acid amount on its catalytic activity,the new definition of catalyst is expressed as:catalyst is such a specific substance that it participates in a chemical reaction in a certain amount,has no essential change before and after the reaction,and affects the reaction rate dramatically rather than the thermodynamic equilibrium.
