【Abstract】 The paper presents a brief review of the history of TCM informatics. A chemoinformatic comparison was made to enhance people’s understanding of three major problems: develop informatics oriented TCM databases, design dedicat- ed storage formats for TCM data, and work out an efficient method to register TCM therapeutic effects.
