【Abstract】 No matter in ancient or modern times,China’s diplomatic practices embodied such a kind of world outlook that identification decreased from the close to the remote while culture spread out,which is totally different form the western dualistic identity.We might call it "identity in circular sequence(ICS)".ICS originated in ancient China’s geopolitical environment,the main idea was culture-centered consciousness and rule of rite,supported by tributary international system.For thousands of years,ICS has already become the collective unconsciousness and cultural psychology of Chinese people.Such cultural structure should not be ignored in China’s national revival and cultural innovation;it is also a key factor in building China theory of IR and foreign affairs.When international system is in transformation and China pursues peaceful development,it has much significance to study ICS in Chinese history.更多还原
