【Abstract】 The paper reviewed the application and production status of adipic acid. The synthesis methods of adipic acid from different raw materials were introduced. The paper introduced in detail the progress on catalytic synthesis of adipic acid using hydrogen peroxide as oxidant source in the presence of different catalysts and lig-ands.
