30W连续波掺Yb3+光纤激光器的研制
Development of a 30 W Continuous Wave Ytterbium-Doped Fiber Laser
【摘要】 研制了一种连续输出掺Yb3+双包层光纤激光器。采用7只8W半导体泵浦激光器(LD),自行设计了串联式恒流源驱动电路,利用光纤合束器技术构成大功率泵浦光源。重点解决了双包层光纤的低损耗熔接问题,在20m吸收系数为0.8dB/m@915nm的掺Yb3+光纤中获得了最高30.8W的输出功率,激光器斜率效率达76.8%,电光转换效率接近30%。
【Abstract】 We design a serial constant-current LD driving circuit with seven 8 W maximum output power LDs and a high-power pump source with a 7×1 fiber pump combiner.We solve the low-loss splicing problem of a double clad fiber. We also obtain the maximum output power of 30.8 W in a 20 m ytterbium-doped fiber with the Absorption coefficient of 0.8 dB/m@915 nm. The efficiency of the slope rate of the fiber laser reaches 76.8% and electro-optics conversion efficiency is nearly 30%.
