基于二维正弦曲面滤波器的指纹图像增强算法研究
Research on fingerprint image enhancement algorithm based on two-dimensional sine quadric surface filter
【摘要】 在深入分析指纹图像的基本特征及其对正弦曲面相似性的基础上,构造符合指纹局部区域纹线灰度分布规律的正弦曲面滤波器模型,并提出了基于该模型的指纹增强算法.实验结果表明,相比于加博增强算法,该算法具有更好的纹线连接能力,能有效提高指纹图像增强的实际效果和细节特征信息提取结果的准确性.
【Abstract】 A two-dimensional sine quadric surface model accord with the ridge gray distributing rule was designed, and a fingerprint enhancement algorithm was produced based on the model after analyzing the basic character of the fingerprint image. The experimental results indicated that the fingerprint enhancement algorithm had better connecting ability for broken ridges than the Gabor fingerprint enhancement algorithm. The algorithm can effectively improve the fingerprint image enhancement result and the accuracy of the minutiae extracting result.
