【Abstract】 The article expounds the relationship between the arbitrariness and the motivation of the language signs.On the basis of reviewing the history of the different arguments on this problem,the article analysizes various kinds of argument focus.Besides,directed by the theory of the recognitive linguistics,the article expounds that the language is the entity of arbitrality and motivation,and motivation is the radical attribute of the language.更多还原
