【Abstract】 Traditional inspection of ancient wood buildings in China was mainly based on visual examination and personal experience with limited instruments. The authors introduced a recently developed resistograph system and 3D impulse tomography as non-destructive testing methods for ancient wood members. A laboratory experiment and a field inspection on an ancient wood structure indicated that the 3D impulse system was very effective for inspecting ancient wood structures. Combined with the resistograph system and visual inspection,the 3D tomography provides reliable inspection results.更多还原
