肺癌MMP-9、TIMP-1表达与微血管密度的关系及意义

【摘要】 目的探讨肺癌组织中MMP-9和TIMP-1的表达与肺癌血管生成的关系及其意义。方法采用免疫组化SP法检测84例肺癌组织中MMP-9、TIMP-1和CD34的表达。结果肺癌组织MMP-9表达显著高于癌旁正常肺组织(P<0.01),小细胞肺癌和腺癌显著高于鳞癌(P<0.01)。肺癌MMP-9表达:有淋巴结转移者高于无淋巴结转移者(P<0.01),Ⅲ~Ⅳ期高于Ⅰ~Ⅱ期(P<0.05)。肺癌组织TIMP-1表达显著高于癌旁正常肺组织(P<0.01)。肺癌MMP-9表达阳性者微血管密度高于MMP-9表达阴性者(P<0.01)。结论MMP-9促进肺癌血管生成,与肺癌侵袭转移密切相关。

【Abstract】 Purpose To investigate the relationship of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 expression with angiogenesis in lung carcinoma tissue and its significance.Methods The expression of MMP-9、TIMP-1 and CD34 was detected in 84 lung carcinoma tissues by immunohistochemical method.Results The expression of MMP-9 in lung carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than that that in para-cancerous normal lung tissues(P<0.01).Small cell lung cancer and adenocarcinoma had higher MMP-9 expression than squamous cell carcinoma(P<0.01).The expression of MMP-9 was significantly higher in lung carcinomas with lymph node metastasis than in lung carcinomas without lymph node metastasis(P<0.01),was significantly higher in stage-Ⅲ and-Ⅳ tumours than in stage-Ⅰand-Ⅱtumours(P<0.05).The expression of TIMP-1 in lung carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than that in para-cancerous normal lung tissues(P<0.01).MVD was significantly higher in lung carcinomas with MMP-9 expression positive than in lung carcinomas with MMP-9 expression negative(P<0.01).Conclusions MMP-9 can improve the neovascularization of lung carcinoma.MMP-9 expression is closely correlated with invasion and metastasis of lung carcinoma.
