【Abstract】 In the Lisu villages of Fugong,Yunnan,Christianity not only provides villagers with personal salvation in theological sense,but comprehensively permeates their individual and family life and features their important rites. Even more importantly,the Christian church as a community constitutes the public space which is now in increasing scarcity in rural life.
