小猿叶甲对寄主植物衰老和缺乏的适应

【摘要】 小猿叶甲Phaedon brassicae Baly是十字花科蔬菜上的一种重要害虫,具有复杂的生活史。测定小猿叶甲取食幼嫩和衰老小白菜叶片后的滞育比率和食料缺乏条件下小猿叶甲成虫的存活时间。研究结果表明,在25℃配合光周期12L∶12D条件下,小猿叶甲取食衰老期小白菜叶片后的滞育比率显著高于取食幼期小白菜叶片后的滞育比率。在25℃、12L∶12D条件下以幼期小白菜叶片饲养小猿叶甲,其成虫羽化后取食0~7d,再分别转入30℃、14L∶10D,不供食的条件下,其结果表明,雌雄成虫存活时间随取食时间延长而延长;羽化成虫取食5d以上,成虫存活时间显著延长,雌雄成虫平均存活时间均在75d以上。最后,讨论小猿叶甲对寄主植物衰老和缺乏的可能适应机制。

【Abstract】 The brassica leaf beetle Phaedon brassicae Baly, one of the serious pests infesting cruciferous vegetables, had a complex life history. The incidence of diapause of the beetles fed with old and young bakchoi leaves, and the survival period of adults under starvation, were measured in this study. The results showed that the incidence of diapause of the beetles fed with old bakchoi leaves was significantly higher than that of the beetles fed with young bakchoi leaves at 25℃ and 12L∶12D. By transferring the adults obtained at 25℃ and 12L∶12D with 0~7 days’ fed with young bakchoi leaves to the conditions of 30℃, 14L∶10D without offering food, the adult survival period increased with the increasing of feeding period before. Survival period of adults increased significantly when they fed 5 days or more, and the mean survival period of adults exceeded 75 days. Finally, possible mechanism of adaptation to aging and absence of host-plant in the brassica leaf beetle was discussed.
