基于改进的水力侵蚀算法的腐蚀化地形生成
ERODED TERRAIN SIMULATION BASED ON IMPROVED HYDRAULIC EROSION ALGORITHM
【摘要】 提出一种新颖的计算机游戏场景地形生成技术。通过引入水量图和沉积物图来改进传统的水力侵蚀算法,以仿真自然地形因风化因素造成的腐蚀化现象,从而增强地形模拟真实感;为了保证游戏实时性,采取四种加速策略进行整体算法优化。实验结果证明,算法适用于为计算机游戏和动画生成实时的真实感地形效果。
【Abstract】 A novel scenario terrain simulation technique for computer games is presented.To emulate the erosion phenomena of natural terrain caused by air slaking factor,water map and sediment map are employed to improve the traditional hydraulic erosion algorithm,therefore the reality of terrain simulation are reinforced.Four acceleration techniques are employed to achieve integral algorithm optimisation for ensuring real-time simulation effects.Experimental results show that the new technique is able to simulate photorealistic terrain for real-time computer games and animations.
