【Abstract】 This paper presents an analysis of Wang Jiazhi,an artistic image in the film Lust Caution,whose contextually and carefully deciphered fate informs us that it is the working of the double lack of love and hate and the spiritual and physical sufferings that causes the cruel displacement of life with death.Wang Jiazhi,like a moth aspiring fire,ventures spiritually and physically due to her lack of love,which can account for her doomed tragic fate.Love is closely associated with aggression and death in nature,and Wang’death is no better than a sad footnote to this point.更多还原
