【Abstract】 Population dynamics of western flower thrips,Frankliniella occidentalis(Thysanoptera: Thripidae) on different varieties of Ranunculus asiaticus and Dianthus caryophyllus were investigated in fields.The results showed that there was significant difference in density of the insect on different varieties of the two flowering plants.For R.asiaticus,the density of the insect on red and light white varieties was greater than that on yellow and white varieties.For D.caryophyllus,the density on red variety was significantly less than that on yellow,light white and white varieties.Population density reached a peak when two plants were in full blossom.更多还原
