涂层粗糙表面滑动接触的有限元分析

【摘要】 滑动接触过程中,两接触体间的温升及平均间隙对零件的接触及机械性能有着重要的影响。应用有限元方法,对涂层粗糙表面的滑动接触过程进行分析。模拟过程中考虑恒定的热传递以及粗糙峰的热弹塑性变形。对于硬涂层情况,研究了摩擦系数、滑动速度、涂层厚度以及外加载荷对粗糙表面温升及平均间隙的影响。通过温升分布及平均间隙变化规律的研究,分析讨论了合理的涂层厚度,指出接触表面或界面的温度升高可能引起表面失效。

【Abstract】 Calculating the temperature rise and average gap between two solids subjected to sliding contacts is essential for the realistic modeling of the performance of mechanical components.Utilizing finite element method,rough surface of layered media under sliding contacts is studied.The simulations take into account the steady-state heat transfer and the asperity distortion due to thermal elasto-plastic deformations.A hard coating is applied to investigate the effects of friction coefficient,sliding speed,coating thickness and the applied load on the contact pressure,temperature rise and average gap of real rough surfaces.Temperature distributions and average gaps are used to investigate the appropriate coating thickness.The possible failure resulted from temperature rise in the surface or the interface is also discussed.
