【Abstract】 Taking the engine brake as an example,the operation principle and the affecting factors of the auxiliary brake were introduced.The reason to shift the gears in the transmission during the auxiliary braking was presented and it was explained that here the fittest gearbox is continuously variable transmission(CVT).The influences of the auxiliary brake on the braking performance of a front-drive car were analyzed by means of the theoretical analysis,the formula deduction and the performance comparison.The effects of the auxiliary brake on the ideal brake force distribution in the car,the synchronized adhesion coefficient,and the utilizing rate of the adhesion coefficient during the urgent braking of the car were also discussed.更多还原
