【Abstract】 This article reveals the commonness between Western classical tragedies and those of China——the "psychological compensation".Focusing on the "psychological compensation",which is dominant in the former and recessive in the latter,it shows that the general character of classical tragedy emerges from both of them——to produce a feeling of pity and fear,so as to criticize the misreading "No tragedy in China and tragedy only in the West ".更多还原
