高品级工业金刚石的亚稳区合成

【摘要】 本文以SPD6×1200型六面顶压机为金刚石的合成设备,采用升压至成核压力,成核后再降压到金刚石的亚稳区的特殊工艺进行金刚石的合成。在高温高压条件下合成出了晶体形貌完好的优质金刚石单晶。SEM结果表明:与传统工艺合成的金刚石相比较,亚稳区内合成的金刚石晶体的缺陷明显变少,表面平滑度增强。还将亚稳区内合成的金刚石与传统工艺合成的金刚石的粒度值进行了比较,在相同生长时间下,亚稳区内合成的金刚石粒度明显小于传统工艺合成的金刚石,即亚稳区内金刚石的生长速度变慢。最后,本文还对特殊工艺与传统工艺下金刚石生长的区别机理进行了分析讨论。

【Abstract】 High quality diamond crystals were synthesized in SPD6×1 200 cubic apparatus,using a special technique that is,the synthesis pressure increased up to diamond nucleating pressure firstly,then decreased into the metastable region of diamond. Scanning electro microscope(SEM) results indicated that,diamond defects got decreased obviously and the morphology of diamond was much better than that synthesized by traditional technology. The size of diamond synthesized in metastable region was compared with diamond synthesized by traditional technology. The comparison results showed that the particle size of diamond was smaller,namely,the growth rate of diamond in metastable region got slower with the pressure decreased. Finally,diamond synthesizing mechanism of the new and traditional technology was discussed.
