【Abstract】 Using existing traditional Chinese architecture in Taiwan as the focus of the study, through site recording and interviews, this article attempts to investigate the pattern of the Eight Divinatory Trigrams that appear on colour paintings on ceiling timber structures in relationship to the respective spatial arrangement. This enables the preliminary systemization of the design of shapes and orientations of the Trigrams in local tradition in paintings in ancient buildings, in respect of the local philosophy in cosmic pattern expressed in architectural spatial arrangements.更多还原
