物质在纳米限域空间中的新现象
New Phenomena of Materials Confined in Nano Space
【摘要】 碳纳米管是具有中空结构的一维纳米材料,其直径一般在约1nm到数十纳米之间。以碳纳米管作为"纳米容器",在其内部可以填充各种物质。由于碳纳米管的限域作用,填充在碳纳米管中的物质具有新的结构与性质。本文总结了填充碳纳米管的常用方法,并重点介绍了填充物在碳纳米管内的结构、相变、稳定性与振动性质,以及碳纳米管内的纳米空间中发生的化学反应,最后对这一领域的发展趋势作了展望。
【Abstract】 Carbon nanotubes are one-dimensional materials with hollow structures,the diameters of which are usually in the range of 1 nm to several tens of nanometers. Carbon nanotubes can be used as "nano containers" to encapsulate guest molecules in their interior nano space. Because of spatial confinement effect of carbon nanotube walls,the encapsulated materials exhibit peculiar structures and properties. In this review,we introduce the methods for filling carbon nanotubes and discuss the structures,phase transitions,stabilities and vibrational properties of the encapsulated materials as well as chemical reactions inside carbon nanotubes. The future directions for the research in this field are also discussed.
