【Abstract】 As an important feature English synonyms are great in number and accurate in meaning,therefore,they can be used not only for the rhetoric effect but also for the cohesion and coherence of the text.This thesis mainly discusses the latter function of the synonyms,that is,we can achieve the texture through the reiteration of synonyms in the sentence,paragraph and the whole text.更多还原
