【Abstract】 As an important component of the two courses ( Marxism Theories & The Ideological and Political Education), the course, Situation and Policy is an important channel for educating students to become well-educated and make contributions to the motherland. However, its present teaching effects are not ideal, which makes it a marginalized required course. Therefore, the reform in the course should be carried out in three aspects- how to teach, how to learn, as well as how to evaluate integrating teaching mode and teaching objectives. There also should be a responsibility system on special subjects and an assembling system among the ranks of teachers.
