【Abstract】 A whole raft of important international events occurred one after the other in 2008.Results of the U.S.general election signaled the beginning of a"new era"in the domestic political life of the U.S.The financial crisis inflicted heavy blows on the existing international financial system and further weakened the U.S.abilities to dominate the international affairs.The G-20 summit gave prominence to the role of the newly-emerging big powers in the developing countries, promoting the multipolorization processes of the international system.Military conflicts between Russia and Georgia greatly worsened big-power relationship and geo-political setup.All those important events showed that tendency of multi-polorization in the world is irresistible.更多还原
