【Abstract】 On the basis of the fingerprint image segmentation algorithm based on the gray variance,this paper pre-sents an improved segmentation algorithm for the low quality fingerprint images which has much low gray degrees pix-els.Experimental results show that the modified algorithm has higher segmentation performance than the original fin-gerprint image segmentation algorithm based on the gray variance,and the algorithm is robust.更多还原
