【Abstract】 Epistolary narrative strategy is a major and also the most important narrative technique in The Color Purple. The paper will study and analyze it in two respects. In the first respect, the use of epistolary narrative strategy itself has distinctive features. In the second respect, through the employment of epistolary narrative strategy to give women a voice and convey the theme of the awakening of women’s self-awareness, Walker establishes a unity between form and content in the novel.更多还原
