多壁碳纳米管的表面修饰及其在溶剂中的分散性
Surface modification of multiwalled carbon nanotubes and their dispersion in solvents
【摘要】 利用高温催化裂解生长多壁碳纳米管,用硝酸氧化使其表面羧酸化,并经酰氯化后与十二烷基胺反应形成表面酰胺化,通过红外、核磁、微量热天平等方法进行表征。结果表明:硝酸氧化后的碳纳米管在水等强极性溶剂中有良好的分散性;酰胺化后,十二烷基脂肪链使碳纳米管表面极性大为降低,因此在氯仿等弱极性溶剂中有良好的分散性。
【Abstract】 Multiwalled carbon nanotubes,formed by catalysis pyrolysis,were dealt with concentrated nitric acid to produce the surface-carboxylated carbon nanotubes.The later was treated with thionyl chloride and dodecyl amine to form the surface-amidated carbon nanotubes.Characterized using IR、NMR、TGA.The carbon nanotubes,treated with nitric acid had a good dispersion in strong-polar solvent i.e.water due to the strong polarity on their surface;The surface-amidated,had a low polarity,which made them a good dispersion in low-polar solvent i.e.chloroform.
