【Abstract】 This paper probes into the development process of traditional poetry since May Fourth Movement and the reasons of its rise and decline,and expounds that it combines traditional and modern humanism: it is characteristic of the ultimate concern about nation and people,freedom and democracy,and universal,fraternity and of various styles of art.Furthermore,the paper focuses on the relationship between modern poetry and classical poetry: the former makes innovation on the basis of carrying on the latter.更多还原
