【Abstract】 Xiangmai 25, a novel moderate gluten wheat cultivar, was developed from the progenies of hybridization between two wheat cultivars (the dwarf male-sterile wheat Tai1062 and the normal wheat Emai 19) by using pedigree method in Xiangfan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It was named by the appraisal committee of crop variety of Hubei province in 2008. It had wide adaptability in all regions of Hubei province and good prospects for application.
