【Abstract】 Root canal irrigation, accompanying with instrument preparation, is an important procedure during root canal preparation process. Rinse solution should be able to dissolve necrotic tissue, have sterilization and bacterici-dal action, and remove smear layer. This paper will introduce a new root canal irrigant: MTAD(a mixture of tetra-cycline isomer, acid, and detergent). It can remove smear layer effectively, have antimicrobial efficiency and less cytotoxicity, and be used securely in clinical therapy.更多还原
