短寿命铱(Ⅲ)配合物在有机电致发光(OLED)中的应用
The application of short lifetime Ir(Ⅲ) complexes in organic light emitting diodes
【摘要】 设计并合成了两种有机电致发光材料,Ir(ppi)2acac和Ir(MeO-ppi)2acac,其中ppi和MeO-ppi分别为2-苯基苯并咪唑和2-(4′-甲氧基苯基)苯并咪唑,acac=乙酰丙酮,Ir(ppi)2acac和Ir(MeO-ppi)2ac,Ir(Ⅲ)配合物在二氯甲烷溶液中的磷光寿命(τ)分别为52.0和43.6ns,在CBP薄膜中的τ分别为3.7和3.3ns,如此短的三重态寿命目前尚未看到报道。研究发现高效的Ir(ppi)2acac的绿电光致发光(EL)性能与短三重态寿命密切相关,7%(质量分数)Ir(ppi)2acac掺杂的器件给出55060cd/m2的最高亮度(L),对应13.4%最大外量子效率(η),比Ir(ppy)3掺杂的参考器件提高了67.5%。
【Abstract】 We demonstrate two organic light emitting materials Ir(ppi)2acac and Ir(MeO-ppi)2acac,where ppi and MeO-ppi=2-phenylbenzoimidazole and 2-(4-methoxyphenyl)benzoimadazole,respectively,acac=acetylacetone.All the two complexes show short triplet lifetime(τ) 52.0 and 43.6ns in CH2Cl2 solution,3.7 and 3.3ns in CBP film,respectively.It is the first time to report phosphorescence materials with such short triplet lifetime.We studied the electroluminescence characteristics,the reason of the short lifetime and the predominance of the short lifetime in device of green Ir(ppi)2acac with the device structure ITO/NPB(40nm)/CBP: x% dopant(30nm)/BCP(20nm)/AlQ(20nm)/LiF(1nm)/Al(100nm),in 7wt% doped devices maximum luminance(L) 55060cd/m2 and highest external quantum efficiency(η) 13.4% were obtained,improved for 67.5% compared to the Ir(ppy)3 doped reference device.
