【Abstract】 As an indispensable part of English language,English euphemism has been arousing great interest. Scholars have studied this linguistic phenomenon from the angles of linguistics, pragmatics, rhetoric or social psychology. In this paper, the writer observes English euphemism from cultural aspect. The study focuses on the analysis of social culture of English euphemism as well as its definition and formation, and its characteristics, which could help the study of psychological features and social values in western countries.更多还原
