【摘要】 本文简要介绍了世界经济论坛全球竞争力评价体系。通过对最近发布的《全球竞争力报告》(2008～2009)的中国排名及全球竞争力优劣势的分析,具体介绍了与工程教育直接相关的各项评价指标的中国排名情况,进而从提高国家竞争力的视角,阐述了现阶段工程教育发展和工程科技人才培养的机遇与挑战,指出工程教育在稳步发展规模的同时,更要强调提高人才培养质量,构建工程科技创新文化。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper makes a brief introduction to the evaluation system of global competitiveness in the World Economic Forum.Then,it elaborates China’s ranking in all evaluation indices related to engineering education based on the analysis on China’s ranking and both advantages and disadvantages of global competitiveness in the newly-issued Global Competitiveness Report(2008-2009)and expounds the opportunities as well as challenges which are on the way of the higher engineering education development and engineering talent cultivation.It thus points out that the improvement of talent cultivation quality and the construction of innovative culture in engineering science should be emphasized while the engineering education is developing steadily.更多还原
