【Abstract】 Degree reduction of B-spline curves and surfaces is a key technology in curve and surface modeling and it is widely used to exchange data between different CAD systems.Therefore,degree reduction of B-spline curves and surfaces has been a research hotspot and drawn more and more attention.An overview on the methods,results and applications of degree reduction of B-spline curves and surfaces in recent years are given combined with the author’s work in this field.Besides,the comparison for those methods is also described.更多还原
