钛酸钾晶须对无石棉有机摩擦材料性能的影响
Effect of potassium titanate whiskers on compressibility and friction properties of NAO friction material
【摘要】 钛酸钾晶须是无石棉有机(NAO)摩擦材料中一种新兴的增强材料。该文作者以一种成熟的NAO配方为基础,采用粉末冶金法制备钛酸钾晶须增强的NAO摩擦材料,研究晶须含量(质量分数,%)对材料可压缩性和摩擦磨损性能的影响。结果表明:随着钛酸钾晶须含量增加,一方面引起材料孔隙度增大,导致材料的冷压缩变形量增大,另一方面通过降低材料的热膨胀率来降低材料热压缩变形率;钛酸钾晶须对摩擦材料的低温摩擦性能影响较小,但具有稳定高温摩擦因数和提升抗热衰退性的作用,适量钛酸钾晶须的加入可以降低材料的高温磨损率。钛酸钾晶须的最佳含量为8%~12%。
【Abstract】 Potassium titanate whiskers(PTW) is a new kind of reinforcing fiber in non-asbestos organic(NAO) friction material due to its excellent performance. Based on one kind of mature NAO formulation, the NAO frication material reinforced with PTW is prepared by using powder metallurgy technology, and the effect of PTW content on compressibility and frictional behaviors of the experimental material has been investigated. The results show that the cold compressibility increases and hot compressibility decreases with the increasing of PTW content, PTW has little effect on the low temperature friction property of friction material. Adding reasonable content (not above 12%) of PTW is helpful to stabilize friction coefficient and decrease wear rate at high temperatures. The best content of PTW is about 8% to 12%.
