新型可支持.Net IL指令的处理器设计

【摘要】 Java技术在嵌入式方面已经得到了广泛应用,而在桌面领域能和Java抗衡的.Net技术在嵌入式领域却未有广泛应用。针对此种情况,本文设计了一个新型的可支持.Net IL指令的处理器picoDotNet,该处理器采用栈式结构,采用六级流水线,并用微码方式实现指令,这使得该处理器灵活并具有很强扩展性,可以广泛适用于嵌入式领域。经应用程序测试,其性能高效,很好地支持了.Net IL指令。

【Abstract】 While Java technology has been widely applied in the embedded area,.NET technology which is competent with Java in desktop area has not been widely used in embedded area yet. To resolve the issue,we designed a new processor picoDotNet which can support.Net IL instructions directly in hardware.This processor is based on stack structure with a 6-stage pipeline and uses microcode to implement instructions,which makes the processor smart and great extensible to be used wildly in embedded area. With full application tests,the functionality and the performance are proved to support.Net IL instructions very well.
